Sandra Seymour was born and raised in the North of England, where she still lives on a boat on the canal with her partner.
She has worked as a hire counter assistant, and a prison librarian, before training as a florist and opening her own shop just before the worst financial crash in living memory.
In 2009, traditionally unemployable due to health issues and transplanted to a new city, she decided to create her own job as a writer.
She is currently working on completing the Breed: series of novels, the first of which, Breed: Slayer, was originally published in 2011 under the title Moroaica.
The Breed: series chronicles the war between vampire factions and their human allies, beginning with Maxi, a half-breed vampire slayer, who, in trying to protect her vampire father from The Breed, an organization of slayers to which she belongs, inadvertently sets off a chain of events that could lead to the ultimate destruction of the vampire nation.
Sandra doesn’t write vampire romance. She believes in monstrous monsters with a touch of humanity.
